PRC- Opening

Here's a look at the show at the PRC .  Thanks to all who came out to the opening and the PRC's  Erin Wederbrook Yuskaitis, Program & Exhibition Manager and  Glenn Ruga Executive Director for the invitation to show this project, Being 13.  Also, thank you to my printer, Live Free Photography , and my framer CC Moore Fine Art Framing for an awesome job and to Zoe, for letting me photograph her over the course of her year being 13.    

Griffin Museum of Photography: July 19 - September 2, 2012

At the opening July 19th, 2012 with Griffin Museum Executive Director and Curator, Paula Tognarelli and my image  Bored Stiff,  part of a recent project entitled, Ms. Behavior.   The exhibition was juried by Paul Kopeikin .

Artist Curated Book Display

  For the month of June I was the featured artist at The Portsmouth Public Library.  On display was my hand made book, Mad Women , and a selection of my recent favorite borrowed items from the library.   My interests resulted in a new Bobby McFerrin CD and three new books added to the library collection; one from Penland on book making and two others on artists Cindy Sherman and Francesca Woodman.   Below is an installation shot, video and list of books I most recently utilized while working on my project, Ms. Behavior which will be exhibited in North Carolina in August and upcoming at the Griffin Museum, opening July19th, 2012.     During the display Jennifer Moore from the library recommended a movie to me called Marwencal.    It was amazing and captivating. Winners Announced for PRC in NYC Exhibition at the New York Photo Festival Nancy Grace Horton.  Red Hot,  2011. Pigment Print. 30 x 30 inches.   The PRC is thrilled to announce the ten winners of the call for entries for the PRC in NYC juried competition and exhibition. Jurors Glenn Ruga, Neal Rantoul, and Chehalis Hegner met to discuss submissions and selected the following artists to exhibit their work in a satellite exhibit at the New York Photo Festival. The PRC congratulates the winners and thanks everyone who submitted.
